9. Tarps that are wider than the raw material used to make the tarp require at least one seam. Seams are usually heat welded with overlaps so that (for solid tarps) the seam is completely waterproof and as strong as the rest of the tarp.
10. Clear vinyl tarps will develop creases from folding. These creases will naturally smooth out over time. However, you can smooth out any creases more quickly by leaving the tarp out in the sun or using a hair dryer. We recommend rolling up the tarp when not in use to prevent wrinkling.
11. Before first use, allow the tarp to warm to room temperature for optimal performance.
12. When you receive our Clear Vinyl Tarp, you may notice a light blue tint to the tarp - don't be alarmed! Our clear vinyl tarps are intentionally designed with a light blue tint! This tint is more noticeable when folded; however, it is not visible when the tarp is unfolded for use.
13. The light blue tint protects your clear vinyl tarp from UV degradation over years of use and prevents discoloration (a yellowish or hazy discoloration caused by UV exposure). You can further protect your clear vinyl tarp by following proper procedures when not in use!

Clear Vinyl Tarps Cut Sizes vs Actual Size:All of our clear vinyl tarps are handmade and cut sizes may vary by up to 2% or 6 inches from the listed size.We strive to be as close to actual size as possible, but this is often not possible due to the different fabric stretches and machines involved in the manufacturing process.

With a cold tear rating of -30 degrees Celsius, this tarp will hold up well in even the harshest winter conditions. Even better, it also does a great job blocking harsh UV rays in the summer. Just like all of our other tarps, this one is completely waterproof. Basically, this tarp can withstand all exterior weather conditions, whether it's snowing, raining, or a bright sunny day. It does all of this while being completely transparent, so you can see right through it. The thickness of the tarp also blocks airflow, which means this tarp can insulate a space from cold air.

17. Splice 610g white PVC scraper cloth strips with a width of 5cm around.
